چکیده
For certain disable persons unable to communicate, we present a palliative aid which consist of a virtual pictographic keyboard associated to a text processing from a pictographic scripture. Words and the grammar are given as pictograms. The pictographic lexicon must be organized following the mental lexicon of the user to propose the pictograms of grammar in order to facilitate his task of writing. We discuss the utility of ontologies in the organization of lexicons and in the building of texts. Ontologies and Natural language

Presenting a method for extracting structured domain-dependent information from Farsi Web pages
Extracting structured information about entities from web texts is an important task in web mining, natural language processing, and information extraction. Information extraction is useful in many applications including search engines, question-answering systems, recommender systems, machine translation, etc. An information extraction system aims to identify the entities from the text and extr...

متن کاملNatural Language Directed Inference in the Presentation of Ontologies
It is hard to come up with a general formalisation of the problem of content determination in natural language generation because of the degree of domaindependence that is involved. This paper presents a novel way of looking at a class of content determination problems in terms of a non-standard kind of inference, which we call natural language directed inference. This is illustrated through ex...
متن کاملTowards Ontology-based Natural Language Processing
Conceptualising a domain has long been recognised as a prerequisite for understanding that domain and processing information about it. Ontologies are explicit specifications of conceptualisations which are now recognised as important components of information systems and information processing. In this paper, we describe a project in which ontologies are part of the reasoning process used for i...
